5. Operation
Inventory
Take the Saljol Aluminium Rollator out of the box and check if anything is missing.
Compare with figure 1 on page 32 and with the scope of delivery, described in 4.1 on
page 30. If any part is missing or damaged, contact your dealer or Saljol immediately.
5.1 Unfolding the rollator
Open the brown hook
to unlock the folding
mechanism.
Hold both handles and
push or pull them apart
in parallel.
Finally, push both seat
tubes down with your
hands until you hear a
„click“ sound.
Important
Now test whether you can pull the seat tubes upwards. If this does not
work, the rollator is correctly and safely unfolded. If in doubt, compare
with figure 1 on page 32. After unfolding the rollator, please make sure
that it is securely closed by an audible click of the lock and that the seat
is well tensioned. Make sure that both push handles are securely inserted
in the frame and firmly fixed with the hand screw.
Always test the secure fit of all accessories BEFORE use. Failure to
observe these warnings may result in injury.
