the

 

shaft.

 

It

 

will

 

then

 

shrink

 

and

 

grip

 

the

 

shaft.

 

Heating

 

temperature

 

should

 

never

 

exceed

 

100°C.

the

 

force

in

bearing

 

cover

 

and

 

tighten

 

fastening

 

screws.

Assembly

 

is

 

performed

the

 

reverse

 

steps

 

of

 

dismantling.

 

Using

 

the

 

section

 

drawing

the

 

pump

 

will

 

be

 

necessary.

 

Extreme

 

cleanliness

 

is

 

required

 

when

 

installing

 

the

 

mechanical

 

seal

 

onto

 

the

 

shaft

 

sleeve.

 

Avoid

 

damaging

 

the

 

seal

 

faces

 

and

 

the

 

O’Ring.

 

(shaft

 

must

 

be

 

free

 

from

 

scratches,

 

burrs,

 

…).

 

It

 

is

 

recommended

 

to

 

apply

 

lightly

 

grease

 

or

 

a

 

neutral

 

oil

 

to

 

ease

 

assembly.

 

Make

 

sure

 

the

 

leap

 

seal

 

is

 

installed

 

in

 

the

 

indicated

 

direction.
