SOLUTION

Appliance does not operate

• Check if the freezer is plugged in. 

• Check if there is power at the AC outlet. 

• Check thermostat control setting

Appliance turns on and off 
frequently

• The room temperature is hotter than normal.
• Large amount of food has been added
• Frequent door openings 
• Door not closed properly
• Temperature control not properly set
• Check gaskets for proper seal 
• Check clearances around freezer

Appliance is vibrating

• Ensure that the freezer is level 

Appliance making noise

• Rattling noise from flow of coolant is normal 
• May hear gurgling sounds at end of each cycle 

from coolant which is normal

• Contraction and expansion of inside walls may 

cause crackling and popping noises which is normal

• Ensure that the freezer is level 
• Check that nothing inside is wobbling 
• Check that nothing has fallen behind the freezer

Appliance door not shutting 
properly 

• Ensure that the freezer is level
• Door not properly installed after reversing. 
• Check door gaskets for proper seal
• Check for blockages .e.g. food containers, shelves, 

bins, etc.
