HOW TO USE
1. Fill the Water Tank with fresh cold water for the desired number of cups. Fill
the Water Tank by removing the Water Tank and filling under the tap.
NOTE: Do not fill above the MAX line or less than the MIN line indicated
on the Water Tank.
2. Lift the Lid and the Inner Lid and place a #4 cone-shaped paper filter in the
Filter Basket. Fill the coffee filter with the desired amount of ground coffee.
NOTE: Use coffee ground specifically for automatic drip coffee makers.
Usually one Coffee Measuring Scoop or a level tablespoon of ground coffee
is used for each cup of coffee. Adjust the amount to your personal taste.
3. Close the Inner Lid and the Lid.
4. Make sure that the Coffee Reservoir is it’s place and close the Coffee
Reservoir Cover.
5. Plug into a 120 Volt AC outlet.
6. Press the ON/OFF Button and the Indicator Light will illuminate and the
brew cycle will start.
NOTE:
The brew cycle can be interrupted by pressing the ON/OFF Button at
any time. If you press the ON/OFF button again the brew cycle will continue.
7. If you wish to serve a cup of coffee before the brew cycle is complete, place
a mug on the Drip Tray and press the Coffee Dispense Button. The coffee
will flow directly into your mug.
NOTE:
The height of the Drip Tray can be adjusted to accommodate a
variety of different mug sizes. Grasp the cross of the Drip Tray and turn
counter clockwise to raise the height of the Drip Tray or turn clockwise
to lower the height of the Drip Tray.
8. Once the brew cycle is complete, the ‘Keep Warm’ Heating Element (located
under the Coffee Reservoir) will automatically keep the coffee warm as long
as the coffee maker is in the ‘On’ position.
NOTE:
When the coffee is being kept warm, make sure that there is coffee
in the Coffee Reservoir.
9. Press the On/Off button to the ‘Off’ position when the Coffee Reservoir is
empty or when the unit is not in use.
10. To brew more coffee, turn the unit off and allow to cool for 10 minutes
before making a new batch of coffee.
CAUTION:
If the unit is not cooled, before immediately reusing, water
placed in the Water Reservoir may become overheated and a spray of
steam may be released when the Lid is opened, creating a risk of burn. 4
