Check Function (Check/Vérifier Button)
1. Place Clip on the cookware then insert Probe plug into the socket
at the back of the Cooktop (see #5 in Description of Parts). Place
Probe through the holes in the Clip then into food. Arrange the wire
so it does not come into contact with food or cookware. The default
set temperature of 320ºF (160ºC) will appear on the Display.
2. To adjust the set temperature, press the +/- buttons.
3. To change between Fahrenheit (ºF) and Celsius (ºC) press the
Check button. Once set, the Display will alternate to show your set
temperature with the word “set” in the bottom right corner of the
Display and the real temperature with the word “real” in the bottom
left corner of the Display.
4. When the set temperature has been reached, the Induction Cooktop
will beep once and END will appear in the Display. The unit will
automatically shut off once the set temperature has been reached.
Hold Function (Hold/Maintenir Button)
Keeps food at a specific temperature.
1. Place Clip on the cookware then insert Probe plug into the socket at
the back of the Cooktop (see #5 in the Description of Parts). Place
Probe through the holes in the Clip then into food. Arrange the wire
so it does not come into contact with food or the cookware.
2. Press the Hold/Maintenir Button once and the default Fahrenheit
temperature of 100˚F will appear in the display. Press the Hold/
Maintenir Button twice and the default Celsius temperature of 37˚C
will appear in the display. To adjust the temperatures press the ‘+’
Button.
3. The Timer can be used for up to 8 hours. Press the Timer Button
repeatedly to adjust the timer in one minute increments or hold the
Timer Button to increase the minute increments faster.
Once the desired temperature and time are set the display will flash
between the temperature and the time.
4. The Hold Function will maintain your set temperature until the set
time is reached or the unit is turned off.
Helpful Hint:
Insert Temperature Probe halfway into your liquid to obtain an accurate
temperature reading. Heat will be generated at the bottom of your
cookware and rise toward the surface. It is also important to stir liquids
while the Hold Function is activated to ensure even heat distribution and
an accurate temperature reading.
