CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance is for household use only and is not user-serviceable.
Do not open or change any parts by yourself. Please refer to a qualified electrical service
department or return to the supplier if servicing is necessary.
Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Ensure that the appliance
is set to the “OFF” or “0” position.
Grip the foldable handle with one hand and turn the cylinder until the arrow symbol on the
cylinder lines up with the arrow symbol on the motor unit.
Remove the cylinder and threaded rod from the motor unit.
Pull out the threaded rod from the piston-plate.
Turn the cylinder end-cap anti-clockwise to unlock it from the cylinder.
Wash the threaded rod, piston-plate, cylinder, cookie discs, cylinder end-cap, nozzle adaptor,
pastry nozzle and nut for nozzle, in warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly. Do not wash in
dishwasher.
A bottle brush will help in cleaning the inside of the cylinder and nozzles.
Wipe the surface of motor unit and foldable handle with a damp sponge.
Do not immerse the motor unit into water or under a tap or in a dishwasher. Never allow the
motor body to come into contact with any liquid. To clean the motor body, gently wipe it with a
soft damp cloth, sponge or paper towel. Always ensure that the motor body is completely dry
before use or storing.
Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your appliance as it can be
damaging to the finish.
After cleaning, completely wipe the appliance dry with a soft cloth. Clean the appliance after
each use.
