Emptying the pan
Before emptying
CAUTION
The tank can be damaged by
overheating. For this reason, always switch the
appliance off before draining it.

Close water valve by turning clockwise.

Turn off appliance and let it cool down.

Remove containers from the tank.

There is a risk of scalding
from the hot water as the tank is drained.

Cleaning the appliance

Remove limescale in the tank with a vinegar solution or a limescale dissolving detergent.
Take note of the cleaning instructions provided by the detergent manufacturer when using
limescale dissolving detergents.

Cleaning:

Fill the tank with a vinegar solution so that all the limescale is covered.

Boil the vinegar solution briefly and allow to act for about 15 to 30 minutes depending on
the limescale deposits.

Drain the cleaning vinegar into a storage container. You can use the vinegar solution
repeatedly to remove limescale.

Clean the tank and the trivet.

Empty and clean the containers.
.
Rinse the cleaned surfaces thoroughly with water and rub them dry.

Clean stainless steel surfaces with grease-cutting cleaning products or special stainless
steel cleaners.

Close the drain tap.
