Connect gas supply, check gas pressures
DANGER!
Suffocation hazard! Risk of explosion!
Danger from gas leak that may result in serious injury or
death! Do not confuse the gas and water connections!
DANGER!
Suffocation hazard!
Exhaust gas may be toxic when connecting the wrong gas or when the
gas type is not set correctly in the control system. The burner system does not work properly if configured
incorrectly; its starting behaviour will be poor and the burner system may sustain damage.
Observe the safety notes on gas appliances, page 5 chapter 2.1!
8.7.1
Connect gas supply
.
Check before making the connection whether the gas type set matches the gas type from the gas sup
ply line.
Changing to a different gas type, see separate service instructions!
D
The gas appliance must be connected by the contract installation company/gas utility company.
D
The customer must provide a gas shut-off device upstream of the appliance.
D
The gas appliance connection fittings (gas shut-off devices) must be easily accessible.
D
Use only locally/nationally approved gas supply hoses for the gas connection (max. length 1.5 metres).
Protect gas supply line from harmful heating up and damage!
D
Gas cylinders must not touch hot heat sources or exposed to direct sunlight. If gas becomes too hot, its
density changes and therefore also the heating output (observe the TRF).
D
Have all activities performed by the supply company/district chimney sweep documented, and safe
these documents.
.
Secure the gas appliance and support structure/table against moving.
.
Check the gas lines for leaks.
.
Instruct the owner and operating personnel about the location of the building’s main gas shut-off device
for the appliance so that the gas supply can be switched off without danger in the event of a gas leak.
