Maintenance and inspection

Before starting 

-Check fuel level 
-Check engine oil 

Periodically (weekly) 

-Check for lose screws, nuts etc 
-Check V-belt 

Every 5 Working hours 

-Check oil level 
-Check air filter  

Once after 25 Working hours with new or 
revised engine 

-Change engine oil 
-Check valve margin 
-Check decompression system 

Every 150 Working hours 

-Replace air filter 
-Change engine oil 
-Check valve margin 
-Check decompression system 
-Change V-belts

Every 500 Working hours 

-Change fuel filter

Keep the machine horizontal to lessen chance of spoiling oil. 

Troubleshooting-Reasons

Reasons 

Engine does not start or stalls. 
 

-No fuel in tank 
-Air filter polluted 
-Wrong valve margin* 
-Wrong adjustment decompression system* 
-Worn out valves or piston springs* 

Engine does not accelerate, hard to start or 
runs erratically. 

-Air filter is dirty 
-Check fuel filter 
-Leaking fuel system 
-Leaking fit* 

Engine overheats. 

-Worn out engine* 
-Exciter turns heavy* 
-To much oil in engine 

Engine runs, but vibrating plate does not 
vibrate. 

-Clutch damaged* 
-V-belt broken  

Engine runs, but vibrates erratic 

-Clutch surface polluted  
-V-belt weak
