Risk of falling
Be very careful while climbing the control-
tower.
6.
Hearing protection must be worn
If the noise in the work space exceeds 85dB, always
wear hearing protection.
7.
Use covers
Do not make changes to the covers or turn on the
machine when a cover is missing.
8.
Risk of crushing
Never stand between a tractor and a fodder wagon
while they are being connected.
9.
Risk of cutting or severing fingers
Never insert your hands under the covers.
Beware of counter blades and loading shutter.
10.
Speed limit
For safety reasons do not exceed 8km/h.

TRACTOR SELECTION
Always follow the guidelines set in tractor’s manual. Contact the manufacturer if it is not
possible. Select a tractor of adequate power. Avoid tractors with electrically connected power take-
off. A tractor has to have adequate unladen mass to provide fluid ride on various surface conditions.
To drive the fodder wagon, a tractor of following parameters is required:
− 45kW for Power take-off at400rpm,
− Maximum power for reduction gear 1:1 /1:1.88 is 85 HP,
− At least one simple hydraulic system: power supply and return,
− Minimal hydraulic system efficiency: 35l/min oilat 540rpm,
− Electric installation at least 11V,measured on the machine, in all possible conditions.
Please note that power requirements are just a general guideline for your information. Power
required depends mainly on the quality of mixed fodder as well as the number of mixing paddles.
4.1.
CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING
Make sure that no one stands between the machine and a tractor while connecting or
disconnecting. Unintended maneuver by machine’s driver may cause danger for people
located in there.
Check if the value and the direction of revolutions of tractor’s input shaft are adequate to the
parameters envisioned for the machine. Incorrectly chosen value of rotational speed, in a
long run, may cause damage to the machine or end up throwing its parts out.
