COUNTERBLADES
Mixing chamber is equipped in two counter blades which are located cornerwise to the
auger’s axle. Counter blades can beextended in the mixing chamber only when cutting ingredients
of 10cm and longer, such as hay or straw. Cutting long materials into TMR is done separately,
before other ingredients are mixed together. Extended counter blades hold longer ingredients, which
then spin around with the auger. The blades on the auger can then easily cut them. Do not extend
the counter blade to mix short ingredients, crops or when the ingredients are damp.
Counter blades can be set in three different positions:
•
Hidden completely (they do not extend in the mixing chamber),
•
2 positions in between,
•
Fully extended in the mixing chamber.
Counter blades always have to be set in desirable position by using a bolt (Fig. 3). The bolt
has to be always secured by a pin shaped in a letter R.
