Fig. 10. Preparing the mower for operation
To prepare the mower for operation:
1.
Lift mower onto 3-point linkage frame. Connect hydraulic hoses.
2.
Open valve (A) on short cylinder position - I. Lift the machine on tractor’s links and move
longer cylinder to the maximum (C),
valve (A) should be in pos. I.
3.
Left valve (B) or right one in position - II (0º) is used to alter pressure in support unit. In
position - II (0º).
Support unit is connected with tractor’s hydraulics (charging of hydro - accumulators).
Increasing pressure – lower impact on the ground.
Reducing pressure – bigger impact on the ground.
Support pressure value on manometers (F) shall be adjusted as specified on decal next to
manometers.
4.
Valve (B) shall be set in position – I
Valve (B) in position - I (90°) causes support unit to be connected with shorter
cylinder (E) which at the same time leads to supporting mower’s cutterbar and disconnection
of support unit from tractor.
5.
In order to reduce pressure in the assembly valve (B) should be set in intermediate position
(45°) between position - II (0º) and position - I (90°).
CAUTION: TOO BIG PRESSURE IN SUPPORT UNIT OF CUTTERBARS DISABLES
LOWERING CUTTERBARS FROM TRANSPORT TO OPERATING POSITION.
