OPERATING 

5.1

 

Attaching the ditch cleaner to the extension arm 

In  order  to  mount  ditch  cleaner  on  extension  arm  perform  the  following  while  keeping  the 

sequence: 

 

place pallet with ditch cleaner on even and paved ground, 

 

drive  tractor  with  mounted  extension  arm  on  and  set  the  arm’s  mounting  plate,  so  it  overlaps 
with ditch cleaner’s mounting plate, 

 

protect tractor against moving with use of parking brake, 

 

mount the cleaner’s mounting plate on the arm’s mounting plate with 6 bolts and nuts M14,  

 

connect  hydraulic  hoses  with  use  of  push-in  fittings  while  paying  particular  attention  to 
connecting the cleaner’s supplying hose to supply connector P(+) of the extension arm and the 
cleaner’s return hose to return connector T(-) of the extension arm (

), 

 

lift up ditch cleaner, which is connected this way slightly above the ground and examine all bolt 
connections and check whether there are no vivid damages, 

 

pre-start ditch cleaner in order to check whether connections and operation are correct.

When  connecting  and  inspecting  the  machine,  respect  any  safety  conditions 
provided herein. 

 

5.2

 

Transport position and drive 

Transport  position  of  ditch  cleaner  aggregated  with  SaMASZ  extension  arm  corresponds  to 

the arm's transport position. See 

Fig. 5

In case of mounting ditch cleaner on other type of extension arm, put the machine aggregated 

with the arm in the compact most position. 

 

Use  any  transport  protective  means  as  provided  for  controlling  and  design  of  extension  arm  to 
transport the aggregation of extension arm and ditch cleaner. 

 

For transportation purposes disconnect PTO. Bear in mind the proper marking and lighting of the 
aggregated machines as a low-speed vehicle to comply with road traffic provisions.  

 

Driving speed should always be adjusted to current road conditions. 

 

Transport speed on public roads cannot exceed the mean speed of 25 km/h.
