5.3.1
Basic information about the operation
In order to provide proper high quality operation, as well as to maintain ditch cleaner's
strength follow these principles:
respect work safety and traffic provisions solely,
keep hydraulic oil consumption for ditch cleaner’s supply pump at max. 80÷100 l/min. For
SaMASZ manufactured extension arm such consumption is obtained respectively with tractor’s
PTO shaft rpm at 800÷1000 rpm,
it is recommended, that the operator prior to commencing levelling work sets ditch cleaner in
relevant position and does not modify it at all afterwards. Such manner of operation provides
work safety and aesthetics.
bear in mind to adjust driving speed to density of the sludge and operating depth in order not to
overload ditch cleaner and therefore prevent it from locking,
when levelling do not take any actions with extension arm, what in result shall provide high
quality of the work performed,
upon setting ditch cleaner as well as extension arm as in
Fig. 6
, start the cleaner and slowly
lower it, so it is on level with ditch,
for long operating periods, it is recommended, on few-hours basis, to periodically inspect
cutting knives, bolt connections, as well as ditch cleaner itself,
to promote the arm's precise controlling, adjust choke valves located on cylinders with knobs.
