Proceedings in case of machine locking 

 

Perform any works at the machine only with drive off and no pressure in hydraulic assembly. 

 

Take ignition key off and protect vehicle against uncontrolled motion or starting. 

 

Put protective gloves on and remove the part, which causes the machine locking. 

 

Lower adaptor onto the ground. 

 

5.3.7

 

Dismounting machine from the extension arm 

To dismount the machine from the extension arm: 

 

turn cutterbar’s drive off, 

 

drive the tractor with connected the extension arm  and  the ditch cleaner to the pallet. The pallet 
must be placed on the equal and hardened ground,  

 

carefully put a ditch cleaner on a pallet, 

 

secure the tractor against its free runaway, 

 

turn the tractor's engine off and take ignition key off, 

 

disconnect a hydraulic hoses, 

 

disconnect  ditch  cleaner’s  mounting  plate  from  the  extension  arm’s  mounting  plate  by 
unscrewing, 

 

carefully drive away with the tractor.

MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE 

CAUTION: 

Use  only  genuine  SaMASZ  fittings  and  spare  parts.  Spare  parts  of  unknown 
origin or new made feature lower strength and have unfavourable influence on 
machine’s overall performance and safety.

 

 

CAUTION: 

The  SaMASZ  co.  shall  not  bear  any  responsibility  for  damages  and  defects 
caused as a result of applying non-genuine parts and fittings. 

6.1

 

Daily maintenance  

Prior to commencing operation with ditch cleaner perform the following: 

 

make sure, that both the tractor and the extension arm, to which ditch cleaner is mounted, work 
properly, 

 

 

set adjustable guard, 

 

set relevant depth by adjusting skid’s height (p. 5.3.3),

 

 

examine bolt connections of cutting disk, knives and if need be tighten these, 

 

examine torque of all bolts and nuts according to 

Tab. 2, 

 

examine condition of hoses and hydraulic connections, 

 

examine condition of cutting knives, and if need be, recover these or replace with new ones, 

 

replace damaged parts with new ones. 
 

After 4-5 hours of operation: 

 

examine  bolt  connections,  and  particularly  these  found  on  cutting  disk,  knives  and  if  need  be 
tighten them 

(Tab. 2

), 

 

examine condition of hoses and hydraulic connections, 

 

examine whether cutting knives can be used again. 

 

Once operation with the machine is complete, do as follows: 

 

examine  bolt  connections,  and  particularly  these  found  on  cutting  disk,  knives  and  if  need  be 
tighten them, 

 

clean the machine thoroughly from any dirt and then wash and dry it.
