5.4.
Preparing the tedder for transport on public roads
To meet safety precautions concerning transport on the public roads the tedder should be
equipped with two warning plates

During transporting on public roads, follow the traffic regulations.
Due to high transport speeds, rotary wheel systems are equipped with vibration dampers (brakes) (
) improving stability of travel direction. The factory-set dampers must be subjected to periodical
control consisting in tightening the springs with their adjusting screw or replacing plastic inserts, if
needed.

WARNING!
If the brake inserts at the rotary axles are not adjusted correctly or worn out, these
wheels may start vibrating. If wheel vibrations occur at higher speeds, check the
condition of the brakes or adjust the damping force.
