For

rotary tedders:
Use the control box in the tractor to activate pressure supply to hydraulic actuators to lower the
arms with rotors (
Fig. 15a
) until the four central rotors come into contact with the ground
(
Fig. 15b
), proceed as slowly as possible,
with pressure still applied to the actuators, rotate the two outermost rotors of the tedder (
Fig.
15c
) until their wheels come into contact with the ground,
with pressure still applied to the folding actuator, move the actuator eye to the ground following
position. This is also the actuator’s maximum extension position (
Fig. 15d
),
pull
out
the
unfolding
actuator
until
the
longitudinal
eye
of
the
actuator
is in the ground following position (
Fig. 15d
).
