Preparing rake for transport on public roads
To meet safety precautions concerning transport on the public roads the mower should be
equipped with warning plates (these can be found with the machine set).
NOTE:
If the machine purchaser does not own the above warning plates, these can be
ordered at the manufacturer.
When transporting on public roads respect provisions valid in the country of use.
5.4.
Mounting and shortening PTO shaft (WPT)
The machine is delivered with a separate instruction manual for PTO shafts.
Prior to commencing operation, examine and adjust length of PTO shaft, which is designed to
mount machine on tractor. In some cases it is possible, that the shaft is too long and therefore needs
to be shortened, so that there is adequate tolerance for the
shortest possible distance between tractor’s
shaft
O
and machine’s shaft
P
.
Shaft length should be adjusted individually for tractor, on which the machine is mounted.
