Commissioning of the module
WARNING
Dangerous malfunctions are possible.
If the system is not installed and commissioned by a qualified specialist company,
dangerous malfunctions with fatal consequences are possible.
Follow the instructions below.
Do not allow persons with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators access to
the system.
ATTENTION
Risk of injury is possible.
There is a risk of injury during assembly and test run.
Use appropriate PPE (UV safety goggles, protective gloves, work shoes).
Proceed as described below, in the order given, to make the system ready for use:
The system is properly installed and checked in the plant.
The system has been checked for safe operation.
There are no faults in the installation or in the system.
Check the conditions at the ventilation system and whether the ventilation system is working
properly.
Correct any errors that may be present.
Then switch on the 230 V power supply to the control unit.
If possible, observe the plasma module during operation:
Use UV eye protection when in visual contact with the plasma module during operation to pro-
tect your eyes from possible permanent damage.
The plasma module should now operate cyclically for a few seconds at a time, which can be rec-
ognised by a purple glow from the plasma tube as well as a low hum. This is the typical, normal
operating state.
While the plasma module is in operation, do not touch the module without protective gloves to
avoid possible electric shocks.
Check that the operation is normal.
Also check whether the module only runs in conjunction with the ventilation system.
If there is an abnormality, this means that there are still errors in the installation.
If you find any errors in the process, switch off the unit.
Remove the error to restore normal operation.
Start the commissioning again.
