5.1.1. Operating instructions
ATTENTION: Before any intervention, respect the health and safety instructions see § 1 page

• Prepare the paint well filtered, correct viscosity.
• Consult the product data sheet.
• Connect the pump’s air equipment to the compressed air network (clean and dry air, maximum air pressure
= 6 bar / 87 psi).
• Connect the gun to the pump.
• Prime the paint pump.
• Take off the safety system to release the gun trigger.
• Point the gun at the pit of the booth.
• Trigger the gun until the paint comes out.
• Lock the safety system to secure the trigger.
• Select a tip on the tip chart.
• Make sure the inside of the tip has a tightness seal or a micro-screen.
• Install the tip inside the aircap making sure that the pins fit perfectly into the notches.
• Screw the tip-aircap assembly onto the gun.
Position the assembly to obtain a vertical or horizontal spray, before tightening strongly. The spray is horizontal
when both ears of the aircap are horizontal.
• Unlock the safety system.
• Trigger the gun.
• Increase fluid pressure until the paint spray is well broken up.
Stop when the spray no longer improves.
• Adjust the spraying air pressure until the horns disappear.
• Put the gun on its adapted support.
• Clean with a brush and solvent if the head is slightly covered with paint.
• Do not use paint that will frequently clog the tip. Use well-filtered paints.
• Use clean and dry air.
