7. Troubleshooting
ATTENTION: Before any intervention, carry out a pressure relief procedure
see § 5.3.2 page 25
and follow the health and safety instructions see § 1 page 7.
• Turn off the air supply and decompress the fluid system by opening the gun.
Defaults

Remedies
The paint does not come out from the
gun anymore
Tip and/or micro-screen partially or
completely blocked.
Turn off the pressure on the pump.
Depressurize the hoses correctly.
Remove and clean the tip and the
aircap with solvent using a brush
and/or a draining needle.
Check the condition of the seal and/or
the micro-screen.
Deformed spray
Tip partially blocked.
Air holes in the aircap partially blocked.
Spray narrows at pump inversions
Spraying air intake.
Blow with compressed air.
Viscosity too high.
Dilute the paint.
The aircap gets dirty frequently
Too much air.
Reduce the air pressure.
The paint comes out of the air holes of
the aircap
Defective seal tip and/or micro-screen.
Replace it.
Aircap not tight enough.
Tighten it.
Paint leakage at the needle cartridge
Worn needle cartridge.
Change the needle assembly.
Paint leakage at the front of the gun,
trigger released
Badly closed needle, impurities in the
paint.
Pull the trigger 3 or 4 times and let it
return on its own.
Worn out needle or/and worn out tip.
Change the needle assembly or/and
the tip.
Air leakage from the valve
Worn valve.
Change the valve.
Permanent air leakage at the gun
aircap when the trigger is released
Friction on the needle.
Remove the trigger and check that the
needle slides freely.
Worn valve.
Change the valve.
Important fog
Too much air.
Reduce the air pressure.
