Removal
The work described in this section is only to
be performed by personnel appropriately
qualified to carry out such tasks.
Crush hazard arising from moving parts on
the valve.
Control valves contain moving parts (actua
-
tor and plug stem), which can injure hands
or fingers if inserted into the valve.
Î
Do not touch any moving valve parts
while the control valve is in operation.
Î
Before performing any mounting or
installation work on the booster valve,
put the control valve out of operation by
disconnecting the supply air and control
signal. Protect it against unintentional
reconnection.
Î
Do not impede the movement of the actu
-
ator and plug stem by inserting objects
into the yoke.
1. Put the booster valve out of operation
(see the 'Decommissioning' section).
2. Remove the connecting lines.
3. To remove the booster valve, loosen the
fastening screws.
