Auto Save
- automatically saves the created message to the
Outbox
after the
message is transmitted.
Entry Mode
You can navigate between
Alphabet
and
T9 Word
(predictive keypad) for the
default setting. Press
to save the setting.
Auto delete
This option allows you to have your message automatically deleted after
viewing it. Or, you can choose to be warned before your message is deleted.
Canned Msg.
Canned messages are pre-programmed into your phone. You can select the
number that is associated with each canned message, and press
to edit.
Once you are done editing your canned message, press to
save.
Msg alert
While setting up your messages you can adjust the message volume. To do this
press
for
Message setting.
Press
for
Msg alert
. Your
options are:
•Volume/Vibrate
•Type
•Reminder
Use the Navigation key to highlight your volume level, and press
to save.
Receiving a message in standby mode
When your phone receives incoming messages in standby mode, the ringer
sounds, (unless it is turned off), and the screen displays:
New Voicemail,
New Text, New Page
or
New BrowserMsg.
The message icon is displayed,
and remains on display until you listen to, or read, the new message.
