Checking the remote controller

Remote controller buttons

•  Point the remote controller towards the remote controller receiver of the indoor unit.
•   When you properly press the button on the remote controller, you will hear beep sound from the indoor unit and a transmit 

indicator(

) appears on the remote controller display.

•   When you press

 button, the 

 indicator will be displayed on the remote controller and  you can change the 

functions on the remote controller as listed below.  

Single User 

 Filter Reset, d'light Cool 

 Usage, Auto Clean 

 Beep Off, good’ sleep 

 Display Off, On Timer 

 

Time Set function. 

If you select the function under the button while the function of the button is switched by

 button, the 2

nd

function is canceled.

 Before using the functions of the remote controller, you should set the current time. (Refer to page 21)

Remote controller display

On Timer

Set the On Timer on.

Off Timer

Set the Off Timer on.

Single User

Turn on/off the Single User function 

which reduces energy usage while 

operating in cool/heat mode.

Auto Clean

Auto clean function – Dry inside of the 

indoor unit to get rid of odor.

Fan 

       

Adjust how much air flows through the air 

conditioner with the 5 different fan speeds 

such as Auto/Low/Medium/High/Turbo.

Set/Cancel

Set/Cancel the timer/

 mode.

Switch the function of the button on the

Vertical air swing 

Activate/Deactivate air flow blade movement 

automatically up and down.

Horizontal air swing 

Activate/Deactivate air flow blade 

movement automatically left and right.

Mode

Set one of the 5 operating modes

(see pages 15~17 for instructions).

Quiet

Reduce noise generated from an indoor unit 

during operation.

Power   

Turn on/off the air conditioner.

Temp + -  

Increase/Decrease the temperature by 1 ˚C.

d'light Cool

Set the d'light Cool function on/off.

 

Set the 

 mode on.

Fast / Comfort 

Select Fast function or Comfort function.

Set the 

SPi

 function on/off.
