When you add or change contacts, Nuance automatically reloads and voice-activates the list.
Name Dialing
To use Name Dial, you need contacts stored in your Phonebook. For more information, refer to
“Contacts”
on
page 58.
To access Voice recognition:
1.
In Idle mode, press
Menu
➔
Organizer
➔
Voice recognition
.
2.
Say “
Call
” followed by the first and last name of the contact that you want to dial.
The name that you said is repeated through the earpiece and your phone dials the number.
3.
If Nuance is not sure of the name that you said, “
Try Again?
” displays on the screen.
4.
You’re asked to confirm the correct name as Nuance displays the results. Say “
Yes
” or “
No
” to confirm or
reject the number when prompted.
The location repeats through the earpiece and your phone dials the number.
Send Text Message
To access Voice recognition:
1.
In Idle mode, press
Menu
➔
Organizer
➔
Voice recognition
.
After a brief pause, a list of available commands displays on the screen along with the “
Say a command
”
message.
2.
Say “
Send Text
” at a distance of 3-8 inches from the microphone. “Say the Name” plays through the
earpiece.
3.
After you say a name, you might be prompted, “
Did you say send text?
” To confirm a name, wait for the beep
and then say “
Yes
.”
4.
When the Text Message client launches, compose your text message.
Name Lookup
To perform a name lookup, you’ll need to have some entries in your Contacts list.
