Internal battery life
•
The internal battery is a consumable accessory. Each time it is
charged, time available with each charging reduces.
•
When a time available with each charging is reduced to about a half
from that of a new battery, replacement of the battery is recommended
because it is near the end of life. For replacement of the internal battery,
contact "Repairs" on the last page of the instruction manual (in
Japanese only) or a DOCOMO-specified repair office.
■
Battery charge
•
Attached AC adapter is applicable to 100-240V AC.
•
AC adapter has a plug dedicated to 100V AC (for domestic use). When
using overseas, a conversion plug adapter applicable to the country you
are staying is required. Do not charge the battery using a transformer
for overseas travel.
•
When the FOMA terminal is turned ON, you can receive a call even
while the terminal is charged. However, in that case, charging requires
longer time because of reducing charging volume.
•
When you use the FOMA terminal while charging, the touch screen or

may not work if the power supply for charging is
unstable. In this case, remove the AC adapter to stop the charging.
•
When inserting/removing the connector, make sure not to put excessive
force.
■
Do not charge the battery pack for a long time (for some days)
with the FOMA terminal powered on.
•
If you remain the FOMA terminal power on for a long time while
charging, the power supply starts from the internal battery after
completion of charging. The usage time duration may be short and the
battery alarm sounds soon. In that case, please charge it again
correctly. For recharging, remove the FOMA terminal from the AC
adapter and reconnect it again.

Estimate internal battery operating time
•
The operating time of the internal battery varies depending on the
operating environment and the secular degradation of the internal
battery.
•
Continuous call time is an estimate of the operation time for calling
when radio wave reception is normal.
•
Continuous stand-by time is an estimate of the stand-by time when
radio wave reception is normal. In certain circumstances, the call time,
the communication time and the stand-by time may drop to as low as
half the time shown due to the battery charge, function settings,
temperature, or radio wave reception in the area (no reception or weak).
A use of the Internet reduces the actual call (communication)/stand-by
time. Even if you do not call or use the Internet, composing emails,
activating downloaded application, performing data communication,
using camera, playing moving pictures, or using music playback/
Bluetooth connection also reduces call (communication)/stand-by time.
