the maximum duration is exceeded. Rates that
vary based on the time of access will be
determined based on the location of the
network equipment providing service and not
the location of your Device or your Device’s
area code (if applicable).
Push-to-Talk Charges
: Charges for push-to-
talk calls are billed to the person who starts the
call and calculated by multiplying the duration
of the call by the applicable rate and number of
participants. You’re charged at least 6 seconds
of airtime for each call you start; subsequent
communications in the same call are rounded
up to and billed to the next second. Time
begins when you press any button to start a
push-to-talk call and ends approximately 6
seconds after completion of a communication
to which no participant responds. Subsequent
push-to-talk communications are considered
new calls. Charges apply for the entire period of
time the push-to-talk call is connected to our
network. Depending on your plan, nationwide,
international, or group push-to-talk calls may
use the local push-to-talk minutes in your plan
and result in additional or different charges.
Responses to call alert transmissions are
treated as new push-to-talk transmissions even
when responding within 6 seconds of receiving
the alert. Push-to-talk billing methods are
subject to change as we introduce new push-
to-talk Services.
