Notes
:
• If you make a mistake while entering a number,
correct it using the
key. For further details,
refer to page 23.
• To insert a dialling pause for special phone
services, such as banking by phone, hold down
the
key. “P” is displayed to indicate the pause.
2. When you are sure that the number is correct, press
the
Save
soft key.
3. Select the memory in which the number is to be
stored (Phone or SIM) and press the
soft key.
Note
: If you change phones, any numbers stored in
your SIM card memory will automatically be
available with the new phone, whereas any
numbers stored in the phone memory must be
stored again.
4. Enter the associated name.
The maximum length of a name depends on your SIM
card. For information on how to enter characters, see
page 37.
5. When you are satisfied, press the
soft key.

• Enter the location number.

The number is saved and the new
entry is displayed.

• Select one of the categories (described
below) by pressing the or key,

• Add any other numbers required in the
other categories by pressing the
soft key and selecting the Edit
number option. You can also select
the Change name option if you wish
to change the associated name.
• Press the

key to return to the idle screen.
Mobile/Home/Office/F a x/Other: allows you to
group numbers by type.
E-mail: allows you to store an e-mail address (the
phone memory can contain a maximum of 200 e-mail
addresses).
URL: allows you to store a URL address (the phone
memory can contain a maximum of 100 URL addresses).
G roup: allows you to assign an entry to a caller
group. To remove a number from a group, select the
No Group option. For more information on how to
change caller group properties, see page 54.
Graphic: allows you to select an image to inform you
of an incoming call from that person.
Alert: allows you to select the colour of the service
light and the melody used to inform you of an
incoming call from that person.
