Finisher Top door is open. Close it
► Symptom
Finisher Top Door is Opened.
► Troubleshooting method
Check if the all door of finisher closed.
If the error still occurs, check the followings.
1) Are all Paper Guides in there up position; and is the Front Door of Finisher closed?
a) Close the Top Door(

) opened.
2) Is the Top Door Sensor (S16) working?
a) Check if the top door sensor actuator(
JC81-07249B
) is abnormality.
b) Check if the connector(JR10 8330) of sensor is disconnected.
c) Check if the connector(JR10 8330) J1,J2 on the main control board (
JC81–07242A
)is disconnected.
d) Check continuity and if the harness is damaged , replace as is necessary.
e) Replace the Finisher top Door sensor(S16).
f) Replace the Finisher main control board(
JC81–07242A
).
3) Replace the Finisher main control board(
JC81–07242A
).
