• Auto-connect

: When enabled, your device will automatically 

connect to known Wi-Fi networks when you launch a high-

data-usage application, even if Wi-Fi is turned off when you 

launch the application. A known Wi-Fi network is one that you 

previously connected to using Wi-Fi settings. 

• Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep

: Specify whether to automatically 

turn off Wi-Fi when the backlight goes out and the device locks. 

This setting can affect the behavior of devices you connect to 

your device, such as when tethering or using your device as a 

mobile hotspot.

• MAC  address

: View your device’s unique identifier, used when 

connecting to Wi-Fi, or when other devices connect to your 

device via Wi-Fi (not configurable).

• IP  address

: View your device’s IP (internet Protocol) address 

(not configurable).

Manage Wi-Fi networks

View and delete, or modify settings, for saved Wi-Fi 
networks.
