1) Clean the contaminated surface on the charge
roller with a soft cloth.
2) If the surface is scratched, replace the drum unit.

Check if the surface of the OPC drum is
contaminated or scratched.
1) Clean the contaminated surface on the OPC drum
with a soft cloth.
2) If the surface is scratched, replace the drum unit.

Check if the charge roller contact plate is contaminated
or has the debris.
1) Clean the charge roller contact plate.
2) If the problem persists, replace the drum unit.
3) If the problem persists after replacing the drum
unit, replace the HVPS board.
