CONFIGURATION MODE
E-Mail Address Setup
This information is used when an event (motion, sensor, no signal, HDD error, or time synchronization error) is
notifi ed by an e-mail.
Set e-mail address.
Enter e-mail address.
Enter the IP address or domain name in the <
SMTP
server
>.
Enter the SMTP ID in the <
SMTP ID
> fi eld (when
authorization is required.)
Enter SMTP password in <
SMTP password
> fi eld
(when authorization is required.)
DDNS Setup
Set up DDNS (Dynamic DNS).
Using DDNS, you can connect to the DVR with Internet Explorer with the domain name entered in the DDNS setup.
You don’t have to enter the IP address to connect to the DVR.
Check <
Use DDNS
>.
Select a DDNS server.
Using public servers requires subscription to create a new ID and password for domain setup.
Enter the <
ID
> and <
Password
>.
Enter the <
Domain Name
>.
Click <
Register Domain
>.
The entered domain name will be registered with the DDNS server.
Use the default address that is supplied with the DVR for <
Default Server IP
>.
If you use a proprietary DDNS server, enter the corresponding DDNS server’s ID and password, and enter the domain
name.
<
User Local IP
> is not generally used.
To connect to the DVR using a remote terminal program over intranet such as LAN, select <
User Local IP
> option.
