Symptom
Countermeasures
In a client, Audio On button does not appear or is
disabled.
- In the DVR server, check if the authority has been allowed.
- Check if you have connected with <Admin> or with a user
account with <Admin> authority, in the client.
- Check if the client PC speaker is turned on.
The PAN / TILT camera is disabled or cannot be
controlled in the client.
- If the PAN / TILT icon is disabled, check the authority setting for
login. (The authority is set in the server.)
- In most cases, if a client cannot control a camera, the server
also cannot do that. Check if you can control the camera in the
server.
The <There is no data drive.> message appears.
- If there is a HDD in the settings, set the HDD to data drive.
- If there is only a system HDD, install a data HDD additionally.
An additionally installed HDD does not appear in
the DVR.
- Check if the capacity of the additionally installed HDD is
supported by the system specifi cations.
- Check if the type of the additionally installed HDD is supported
by the system.
- Even if the additionally installed HDD is supported by the system,
if the HDD is not initialized in the Shell mode, the HDD may not
appear in the DVR server.
I have connected an external storage device
(USB memory, USB HDD, or another USB
storage device) to the DVR system, but the
device does not appear in the DVR system.
- The connected external storage device may not compatible with
the DVR server.
(Check the compatibility by calling the customer support center.)
- Connect the USB storage device to the USB port on the front
panel. If the device is not recognized, connect the device to the
USB port on the rear panel and check if it is recognized by the
DVR server. If the device is recognized when it is connected
to the USB port on the rear panel, while it is not when it is
connected to the port on the front panel, the USB internal AUX
cable or the USB jack may be defective.
- If, although the device is compatible with the DVR server, the
device is not recognized when it is connected to the front or rear
USB port, please call after-sales service to resolve this problem.
