Using (HDMI-CEC)
It's possible to control external devices connected to the TV using the TV remote via the (HDMI-CEC)
feature.
External devices that are connected to the TV and support HDMI-CEC can be controlled using the TV remote.
However, devices cannot be controlled using the buttons on the TV.

It can take approximately two minutes for the connection to be configured.
Before Using (HDMI-CEC)
Depending on the HDMI version, (HDMI-CEC) may not function. If this happens, check the HDMI version and try
replacing the HDMI cable.
Third-party external devices that do not support HDMI-CEC can be controlled using a single Samsung remote via the
universal remote feature. For more information, refer to "Using Samsung Remote to Control External Devices (Universal
Remote)".
This feature is not available with external devices that do not support HDMI-CEC.
The TV remote may not function in certain situations. If this happens, try selecting the device again.
(HDMI-CEC) only works when the external device that supports HDMI-CEC is in standby mode or turned on.
You can connect up to twelve external devices that support (HDMI-CEC). However, only up to 3 devices of the same
type may be connected. Only a single home theater system may be connected.
To listen to the audio of an external device as 5.1-channel audio, connect the device to the TV using an HDMI cable and the
external device's digital audio out port directly to the home theater system.
If an external device has been configured as an device and simultaneously for use with the universal remote
feature can only be controlled using a universal remote.
