CHAPTER 2.
Port Numbering
This Chapter describes the port number conventions used on the iBG2016.
Ports on any Network modules or Mini modules are numbered from right to
left starting with port number zero. If there is more than one row of ports on a
given module, the bottom row is numbered first from right to left starting at
port zero, then the next row up is numbered from right to left starting with the
next port number based on the lower rows last(left most) numbered port.
Main Board Ports Numbering
There are five LAN interfaces on the main processing unit - One Gigabit
Ethernet SFP port and four Fast ports. Then the Gigabit Ethernet ports follow
the numbering rule and are numbered right to left bottom to top start with one.
