Incoming Called Number & Answer Address for VoIP
‘Incoming-called-number’ command is the top priority attempting inbound
dial-peer matching by comparing the called number of incoming call.
If different setup on the call bound for the particular called number is tried,
inbound dial-peer matching of the pertinent call is possible by using this
command. Even though there is matchable dial-peer, matching according to
the condition of incoming called number occurs first.
Answer address attempts dial-peer matching against VoIP incoming call.
Top priority comes next to incoming called number, comparing with calling
number. If matching does not occur, compare destination-pattern with calling
number. The following dial-peer matches with VoIP call with calling number
of ‘3091345’.
dial-peer voice voip 1
answer-address 3091345
session target ip-address ipv4:192.169.10.4
DID for POTS Dial Peers
Direct Inward Dialing immediately enables outbound dial peer matching with
called number against call from POTS interface. If it is set up in DID inbound
POTS dial-peer, called number attempts to automatically match with
destination pattern to find outbound call leg.
If DID is not setup on the moment of incoming call, Ubigate iBG2016
transmits dial tone to caller and collects additionally numbers to find outbound
dial-peer. This procedure is called two-stage dialing. After selecting Outbound
dial peer, it transmits call to the set destination in dial peer.
DID immediately enables outbound call by matching called number in dial
peer. If DID is set, it does not send dial tone to caller or collect additionally
digit. It immediately sends call to configured destination. This is called one-
stage dialing.
Hunt Groups and Preferences
Supports the concept of hunt group against numerous dial peer with the same
destination-pattern. With the destination of each POTS dial peer being single
voice port, hunt group enables call to be transmitted with other voice port even
though the particular voice port is busy.
