The Program AE function works only in Camera mode.

The Program AE mode allows you to adjust shutter speeds and apertures to
suit different recording conditions.

They give you creative control over the depth of field.

Auto mode (
)
- Auto balance between the subject and the background.
- To be used in normal conditions.
- The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/50 to 1/250
per second, depending on the scene.
■
Sports mode (
)
For recording people or objects moving quickly.
■
Portrait mode (
)
- For focusing on the background of the subject, when the background is
out of focus.
- The Portrait mode is most effective when used outdoors.
- The shutter speed automatically varies from 1/50 to 1/1000 per second.
■
Spotlight mode (
)
For recording correctly when there is only light on the subject and not the rest
of the picture.
■
Sand/Snow mode (
)
For recording when people or objects are darker than the background
because of reflected light from sand or snow.

High Speed(High Shutter Speed) mode (
)
For recording fast-moving subjects such as players in golf or tennis games.

While setting the NITE PIX to ON, the Program AE function does not work.
■
The Program AE function will not operate in EASY.Q mode.

La función Program AE <Program Ae> sólo está operativa en la modalidad
Camera.

La modalidad Program AE permite ajustar las velocidades de obturación y
aperturas para adaptarse a distintas condiciones de grabación.

Con ella se puede controlar de manera creativa la profundidad de campo.

Modalidad Auto (
)
- Balance automático entre el objeto y el fondo.
- Se utiliza en condiciones normales.
- La velocidad del obturador se ajusta automáticamente
entre 1/50 y 1/250 de segundo, según la escena que se
esté grabando.

Modalidad Sports (
)
Se utiliza para grabar a personas u objetos que se mueven
rápidamente.
■
Modalidad Portrait (
)
- Enfoca el fondo del objeto cuando está desenfocado.
- Esta modalidad es más eficaz cuando se emplea en exteriores.
- La velocidad del obturador se ajusta automáticamente entre 1/50 y 1/1000
de segundo.

Modalidad Spotlight (
)
Esta modalidad se emplea para grabar correctamente cuando sólo está
iluminado el objeto y el resto de la imagen no lo está.
■
Modalidad Sand/Snow (
)
Esta modalidad se emplea para grabar cuando las personas o los objetos
están menos iluminados que el fondo debido a la luz reflejada en la arena o
en la nieve.
■
Modalidad High Speed (Velocidad de obturador alta) (
)
Esta modalidad se emplea para grabar escenas en que el movimiento es de
gran velocidad, por ejemplo, jugadores de tenis o de golf.

Si la función NITE PIX está activada, la función Program AE no está
operativa.
■
La función Program AE no está operativa en la modalidad EASY.Q.
