Editing Text
After entering text, touch and hold the text field to display the
following options:
•
Select all
: Select all text in the field.
•
Select text

Stop selecting text
: Touch and hold a position in the
text, then touch
Select text
. Lightly sweep left or right over the text
you want to select. Touch
Stop selecting text
when you are ready to
stop selecting text.

Cut
/
Cut all
: Copy and remove the selected text.
•
Copy
/
Copy all
: Copy the selected text.
•
Paste
: Touch and hold a position in the text to paste the copied text,
then touch
Paste
.
•
Input method
: Set the input method to Samsung keypad.
Using Speech Recognition
You can use your voice to enter text using the Voice input feature,
which lets you enter text by speaking. Samsung Keypad
recognizes your speech and enters text for you.
Note:
Enable
Voice Input
in Samsung keypad settings. For more information,
refer to
“Samsung Keypad”
on page 106.

Speak now
prompt, speak clearly and distinctly into
the microphone.

Working...
is displayed while the software is converting
your voice to text.
The text is displayed in the message.

Touch

again to speak and add
more test.
Note:
The feature works best when you break your message down into
smaller segments.
