Sleep
: The HDD status while it is connecting to this port. N: stands for working; Y: stands for sleeping.
Capacity:
the total capacity for the connected equipment; if it connect to a hard disk, it will show the capacity of the
HDD (unite: G). If it connect a burner, it will show “0”.
Free:
The spare capacity of the HDD. If it is recycled more than once, it will show “0”, and reminding covered 2 times.
State
: The state of the HDD.
NOR
: stands for normal;
Err
: means some mistake occurring, it might be that wire
connecting wrong or there’s channel interrupting in the HDD. Please ask engineer to check. If the HDD is not in working
status, it will skip it without instructions.
Note
: All disks will be managed as a whole. If the main board is wrong, the system will stop working and warn to
check HDD or restart. Please ask engineer to check.
Format HDD
: clear the data in the HDD and format it quickly.
Execute:
Press this key to confirm. This instruction refers to selected HDD, and all data in it will be deleted.
Back:
Cancel the format HDD instruction.
Data recovery:
If something is canceled carelessly, you need to click “data recovery” to restore the data in hard disk.
Input the password (default: 88888888). Click “Back” to cancel the operation; or click “Execute” to restore the data.
Even the data recovered, it might be a little different from the original.
