With the ignition switched off and the parking brake set, disconnect the
negative battery cable on the driver’s side.
Note:
Failure to disconnect
the battery may cause the CEL to illuminate upon completion of
the installation and subsequent operation. Do not skip this step!

Disengage the red locking clip and disconnect the MAF
sensor harness from the MAF sensor.

Remove the three bolts securing the engine cover.
Tool Required:
10mm Socket/Wrench

Loosen the hose clamp at the throttle body. The location of
the throttle body is closest to the driver’s side.
Tool Required:
8mm Socket/Wrench

Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the CCV hose
attached to the engine cover.
Tool Required:
8mm Socket/Wrench

Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the intake tube
from the stock air box.
