Why isn’t my Sansa

®

 Fuze media player being charged or 

detected by my computer when I connect it?

 

Verify that you are using Windows Media Player version 10 or higher, reset your player, and 
try again. 

How do I drag music files to my Sansa Fuze media player? 

As long as the files are WMA or MP3, they can be dragged into the Music folder.  

Which bit rates will the Sansa Fuze media player support? 

The Sansa Fuze

TM

 media player will support 32-320Kbps for MP3 and 32-256Kbps for WMA. 

How do I format my Sansa Fuze media player? 

You can use the device Format command under Settings

Format or using a computer. 

Why should I update the firmware? 

You should always update the player to the latest firmware to ensure that it functions 
correctly and has all the latest features.  Please download the Sansa Updater Application 

from the Sansa Support Website. 

How do I transfer videos and photos to my Sansa Fuze media 
player? 

You need to install the Sansa Media Converter software (available via Sansa Firmware 

Updater

).  This software will convert 

your video and photo files then transfer them to the player.  Refer to the Sansa Media 
Converter software for details on file formats supported.
