ECC
—Defines the ECC code that was used for storing data on the card. This field is used by the host (or
application) to decode the user data. The following table defines the field format:

CRC
—The CRC field carries the check sum for the CSD contents. The checksum has to be recalculated
by the host for any CSD modification. The default corresponds to the initial CSD contents.

Status Register
The MultiMediaCard status register structure is
defined in the following table. The Type and
Clear-Condition fields in the table are coded as
follows:
Type:
• E - Error bit.
• S - Status bit.
• R - Detected and set for the actual
command response.
• X - Detected and set during command
execution. The host must poll the card by
sending status command in order to read
these bits.
Clear Condition:
• A - According to the card current state.
• B - Always related to the previous
command. Reception of a valid command
will clear it (with a delay of one
command).
• C - Clear by read.
