5.- USE AND MAINTENANCE
To fully recycle the air, run the exhaust fan for 15 minutes after
cooking.
Proper operation of the exhaust fan is related to the frequency
of maintenance, in particular cleaning of the metal anti-grease
filter.
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation,
disconnect the hood from the electricity supply.
Clean the surface of the exhaust fan frequently with a damp
cloth and neutral, non-abrasive detergent.
Pull out the grease trap (below) and soak in a bath of water and
neutral liquid soap until the grease dissolves. It is also
dishwasher safe.

Remove by turning the front grille after removing the safety
screw. Let the whole thing soak in a bath of water and neutral
liquid soap until the grease dissolves. It is also dishwasher
safe. The plastic grille and metal filter may also be cleaned
separately by removing the three screws that hold them on to
the device.

After removing the front grille, remove the filter frame by
pushing gently on the two upper fasteners and taking out the
filter. Let it soak in a bath of water and neutral liquid soap until
the grease dissolves. It is also dishwasher safe.
