3 Once the countdown has expired the appliance acts as follows:

8.6 Simplified operation
Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to switch the appliance off. Since
the first option, starting from standby, is , the appliance can be used in a sim-
plified manner as follows:

9. INFRARED MODE
The appliance features an infrared receiver allowing it to be controlled via a remo-
te control unit (optional). Programming and transmission instructions are explai-
ned in the instructions for the remote control unit .

all the appliances in your heating installation.
The MP-EMIDRY remote control unit features:
- 4 operating programs.
- Time band programs with different temperatures.
- Different programs for each day of the week.
10. OPERATION AS PART OF A HOME AUTOMATION NETWORK
Select the DOMO mode. While this mode is active, the appliance executes the
orders it receives from a home automation controller. Important: when the
appliance is in DOMO mode but not receiving a home automation signal it returns

11. DISCONNECTING THE APPLIANCE FROM THE POWER SUPPLY
When in standby (no mode indicated) the appliance remains connected to the
power supply. Temperature information and timer settings (where activated) are
shown on the display. When the appliance is not used for prolonged periods
(summer, holidays etc.) we recommend disconnecting the appliance from the
power supply. To do this, press the mechanical switch on the rear of the control
pad. The LCD display goes totally blank, with no information displayed. All mode,
temperature and program settings are stored. However, the clock is suspended
and so when the appliance is switched on again the correct time must be set on
the control pad.
