Safety Warnings

For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock, please follow all the safety 
precautions listed below.

•  Read all instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference.

•  Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a third party, make sure to include this manual.

•  This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

 

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

 

• Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

 

• Bed and breakfast type environments;

 

• Catering and similar non-retail applications.

•  Keep ventilation openings in the unit enclosure clear of obstructions.

•  Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those 

recommended by the manufacturer.

•  Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the unit, unless they are of 

the type recommended by the manufacturer.

•  If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a qualified 

technician in order to avoid a hazard.

•  Choose a location for your unit away from heat sources such as radiators or fires as refrigerant and 

insulation are flammable.

•  Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

•  The unit must be manoeuvred by a minimum of 2 persons, however we recommend you use 4 people.

•  This unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced sensory, physical or 

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or 
instructions concerning the use of the unit by a person responsible for their safety.

•  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.

•  Do not store volatile or flammable substances, including aerosol cans in the unit.

•  Do not store bottles or glass containers in the freezer compartment. Contents can expand when frozen 

(fizzy drinks) which may break the bottle and damage your freezer compartment.

•  Do not consume products (such as water ices) just removed from the freezer as you may suffer cold 

burns.

IT IS HAZARDOUS FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN AUTHORISED SERVICE PERSONNEL TO CARRY OUT 
SERVICING OF REPAIRS WHICH INVOLVE THE REMOVAL OF COVERS.
