Basic Operation
Powering ON/OFF
When you first connect the unit to the mains socket. The unit will be in
Standby
mode.
• Press the
STANDBY
button to switch the unit on.
• Press the
STANDBY
button to switch the unit back to
Standby
mode.
• Disconnect the power cable of the mains adapter from the mains socket if you want to
switch the unit off completely.
Selecting Modes
Press the
MODE
button repeatedly to switch between modes (
DAB
,
FM, iPod
or
AUX
).
Adjusting Volume
Press the
Vol+
or
Vol–
button to increase / decrease the volume.
Setting the Alarms
1. Press the
ALARM1
button on the unit or on the remote control to set the ALARM 1.
2. The alarm
ON
or
OFF
will flash. Press the
buttons to set alarm
ON
or
OFF
, then
press the
ENTER
button to confirm.
3. The hour digits will flash. Press the
buttons to adjust the hour digits, then press
the
ENTER
button to confirm.
4. The minute digits will flash. Press the
buttons to adjust the minute digits, then
press the
ENTER
button to confirm.
5. The alarm type will flash. Press the
buttons to select the alarm type. (

iPod
). Press the
ENTER
button to confirm.
6. To set ALARM 2, press the
ALARM2
button on the unit or on the remote control. Then
repeat the above steps 2-5.
7. When alarms are set, the “

” indicator will display on the screen in
Standby
mode (depending on what you have set).
If the
RADIO
is selected as the
Alarm
mode, make sure the volume is set to a
level that can wake you up.
