Additional Information for PCI port
The PCIe menu refers to the different PCIe lanes using their chipset based numbers. For
every lane, the number used on the COMe connector is mentioned. Take care to select the
PCIe lane you require as numbering varies strongly.
The standard layout for PCIe consists of 8 PCIe 1x lanes.
Other layouts may be programmed by flashing a different descriptor to the Intel firmware
on theBIOS SPI flash. Contact Kontron Support if you require different PCIe layout with
your project.
