Top and Bottom Features
The top and bottom sides feature removable heatsinks. The heatsinks absorb the heat produced by the internal
components and transfers the heat by dissipating the heat into the ambient environment. Take care not to obstruct
the airflow over the heatsinks. Obstructing the airflow can stop sufficient heat dispersing into the ambient
environment leading to a build-up of heat.
The surface of the heatsink or sides of the switch without heatsink may get hot and take care when handling the
switch.
External metal parts are hot. Qualified service personnel must pay special attention and use
protection before handling the switch:
•
Do not touch
•
Allow to cool before servicing
•
Wear protective gloves
