Faceplate Features
4.1.1.
RJ45 Copper Ethernet Ports
When connecting to a PC use a straight-through or a cross-over Ethernet cable and when connecting to an Ethernet
device use UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) or STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) Ethernet cables.
The switch supports 8 or 16, 10/100Mbps RJ45 copper Ethernet ports and on request 24 or 48, 10/100Mbps RJ45
copper Ethernet ports.
The faceplate ports labeled ‘G1’ and ‘G2’ are either 100/1000Mbps RJ45 copper Ethernet ports or 1000 Base fiber SFP
slots.
