Auto clock time adjustment by RBDS-CT
You can enable auto clock time adjustment by RBDS (Radio Broadcast Data System) CT
function. Clock time can be
automatically adjusted by FM RBDS station.
1. You can access the menu setting when the radio is in power on or standby mode.
2. Press and release the Menu button, rotate the Tuning control knob until “RBDS CT” and a
clock symbol appear on the display. Press the Select button to confirm the setting.
3. Select a FM radio station which provides RBDS CT service, the RBDS indicator and RBDS
clock time icon will appear on the display. The clock will be aligned in 5 minutes once the CT
service is available.
4. Press and release the Info button to check if the clock screen has the correct
time.
5. When the action is completed, the RBDS clock time icon will appear on the LCD display
indicating the radio time is RBDS clock time.
Note:
1) If the clock time was not auto adjusted within 24 hours,
the CT icon will disappear.
2) If clock time from local RBDS station is not correct, you should consider disabling the RBDS-
CT
function.
3) If you wish to cancel the RBDS-CT function, press and release the Menu button
and rotate
the Tuning control knob to select “RBDS CT”. Press the Tuning control knob, the “RBDS CT”
will flash on the display. Rotate the Tuning control knob to select “MANUAL” and press the
Tuning control knob to confirm the setting. Please refer to the later section “Setting the clock
time manually” and “Setting the date manually” to set the clock time and date.
4) Please note that at times the RBDS signal may broadcast the wrong time, this is the fault of
the radio station and not your radio.
